The CBR150R was introduced by Honda as the successor to the 2-stroke NSR150. It has been sold in Thai market starting from 2002 and have been exported to many Asian countries and South Africa. A.P. Honda produces the new fuel-injected (PGM-FI) version in 2010, which has lower power than the carburetted version.[1] The design was shared with the 2011 CBR250R, which in turn borrows from VFR1200F sports tourer. The CBR150R went on sale in India in March 2012.[2] In 2014, Honda updated the CBR150R with the same body design as the CBR300R, which is inspired from the 2012 CBR1000RR. This update was applied to Indonesian market only, while other markets retained the old design. This model is also made locally by Astra Honda Motor.[3] In 2016, Honda introduced a fully updated version of the CBR150R, which has the body inspired from the 2016 CBR500R. This version also has the new engine configuration since its introduction in 2002. Like the 2014 version, this variant is made and sold in Indonesia, and has been exported to the Philippines.[4][5] In 2018, the ABS option made available in Indonesia, along with a slightly reworked body.[6] This version is also sold in Thailand, replacing the previous locally-assembled 2010 version since 2018.


In February 2016, Astra Honda Motor released a fully updated version of the CBR150R. Updates includes new engine configuration, different body design, which is inspired from the 2016 CBR500R, all-LED lighting system, and all-digital instrument panel design.[4] The engine is now shared with the 2015 CB150R, 2015 Sonic 150R, and 2016 Winner. The weight is reduced by 8 kg (18 lb).[7]


Engine and hardware specifications remain unchanged for now, although a Euro-V upgrade is expected by next year. Currently, the 149 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve, fuel-injected motor that is mated to a six-speed gearbox delivers 17.1 PS at 9,000 rpm and 14.4 Nm at 7,000 rpm. As seen in the video, the motorcycle clocks a top speed of 141 km/h (speedometer indicated).


Honda CBR 150R shares it engine with its previous version that is 149.4cc, Liquid cooled, 4-stroke, 4-Valve, DOHC, SI engine. The mill comes linked to a 6-speed transmission system and churns out a maximum power of 18.28 bhp at 10500 rpm and a net torque of 12.66Nm at 8500 rpm. Further, it is fitted with PGM-FI technology that improves the power delivery and throttle response. It has a compression ration of 11:1 and a power oriented bore x stroke ratio of 63.5 mm x 47.2 mm. With this setup, the bike can hit a top speed of 109kmph.


Honda CBR 150R comes with a 12V 60/55W that offer steady light beam in the night well even in low light conditions. It is fitted with tubeless tyres that prevent any mishap in the case of a puncture. Furthermore, The machine comes with 130mm rear tyre that provides it high traction control so the rider can easily do cornering at high speeds confidently. The ground clearance of the motorcycle is good enough to surpass any hurdle of the road.

The instrument console of CBR150R features a combined analogue tachometer and digital speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer. The instrument console also has different LED indicators. The speedometer is not as big as we get to see in regular Bajaj and TVS bikes. The bike features orange back light.


Despite being heavier, CBR 150R proves to be more enthusiastic than R15 as it takes just above 12 seconds to reach 0-100km/hour which makes it faster than its rival by one second. Being a DOHC engine, it tends to be refined and that shows when you can see yourself around 9000rpms without any vibrations. This engine feels extremely refined at high rpms and that helps you to achieve a top speed of around 130-132km/hr. Gear transitions are very smooth and gear ratios also feel well proportionate. Despite its less torque output, the bike still manages to impress you with its performance.


Driving it for 8 months and i love it...... 1 Disadvantage Low Torque..... Lots of Advantages Smoother than any bikes out there.... awesome suspension...... no Vibration..... High speed 137kmph..... No other Sport bike can beat the mileage giving 45kmpl!!!! Well R15 can beat CBR in drag race but in the long run CBR owns R15..... comparing pulsar 220 &200ns with CBR both pulsar bikes r jst vibrating machines at high speed both r not so comfortable at high speed..... i agree they hav more power... but they dont have the perfect finishing or quality like the Honda CBR.....

hink it must be available, just check it out in the nearest Honda Showroom. @Prateek Goyal, the top speed of both the above 2 bikes, Duke and 200NS is 136km/h but CBR150R has much more top speed than the two. The CBR is a sports bike and the Duke and NS are naked street bikes. The duke is one of the best bikes and the 200 NS (I haven't rode it to say how it is). There is no connection between the top speed and power, for example between, fz and rtr 180, there's difference in power but still fz goes up to 136km/h and rtr180 only 125km/h. So according to me, there is no connection between power and speed. If you want a nice sporty bike with an overall package, go for the CBR150R, it's the No.1, just GO FOR IT


CBR250R was so far offered with Continental Conti Go tyres which were not applauded widely for their grip. The new 2016 CBR250R now comes with MRF Nylogrip Zapper (S & FY) tyres which are hopefully better. On the contrary, CBR150R, which usually came with MRF rubber now gets TVS tyres which we are NOT very big fans of! There has been no confirmation or official word from Honda on this (nor will they say anything on record), but our basis of this update is the following official pic(s) of both the motorcycles as well as the display models which were showcased at the RevFest on 4th August.


Kalo Honda menang di top speed, Pabrikan S sama Y dan yang lainnya mau makan apa mas Yg begini aja kompetitor udah ketar ketir apa lagi kalo disempurnakan Honda ga mau ngambil rejeki pabrikan lain, biarlah pabrikan lain main di tampang dan yg satunya main di kecepatan. Kalo Honda toh udah punya konsumen yg loyal dan komunitas yang selalu di dengar. Honda mengutamakan kenyamanan, masalah kecepatan sebisa mungkin dibuat mudah disetting tinggal setting dikit dapat banyak. Mikir!


katanya honda suka bc, tp kok disini yg nge bc semua personil yamaha ya, standart ganda ya,ada yg bilang r15 bisa sampek 140 km/jam, wew, sini ane beli deh r15 nya, seharga r15 baru ane tambahin uang tips deh, karena ane pernah tes sendiri r15, tembus 120 aja suara mesin nya dah kasar gak ketulungan, ni nomor ane, tolong di sms yg jual r15 dengan top speed 140km/jam 082277061499


iya emang bener tong, shock depan turunin dikit, pake ban cacing, top speed imbang moto gp. hahahahaha, ente masih gaya2 alay tong. nurunin shock berpengaruh sama top speed, hahahahah. motor2 sekarang harusnya di buat seceper mungkin biar kencang sekali. hahahah


jangan dibandingin dengan top speed yang didapat di youtube dengan track panjang menurun dan searah dengan arah angin, plus modifikasi yang disembunyikan, pengalaman lihat di youtube motor 150 cc sohc bisa top speed 132 kpj tetapi setelah ane coba sendiri dgn bobot rider 90 kg cuma sampe 114 kpj itupun setelah 100 kpj naiknya 2 detik 1 kpj saja..


udah cukup cepat untuk mesin operstuk standart, kalok mesinnya masih tipe operstruk gak usah lebay deh kasi berita top speednya tinggi2, halusinasi namanya itu, gimana mau top speed tinggi, 10ribu rpm aja udah lemah syahwat kok, loyo. tp kalo overbore bicara top speed emang itu tujuan tipe mesinnya di buat, jd gak salah kalo ngomongin top speed,nb. untuk para sales yg sekarang jualan sport tp pake mesin operstruk. dipahami ya tong


Kalo by brosur sih sama aja ya. Cm masalahnya raihan top speednya brapa lama Kl k45 aksel lambat, tp bgitu maen di rpm 6rb keatas top sgt mudah diraih. K45G aksel bagus, tp bt ngeraih top speed bakal lebih lama.


Saya pengguna baru, test speed CBR K45G track cukup pendek dan sepi top speed di gigi 1 dapet 25 gigi 2 dapet 65 gigi 3 dapet 92 gigi 4 dapet 117 gigi 5 dapet 126 KM/H dan gigi 6 belum di ketahui saya rasa ini motor bisa lebih dari 126KM/H asal oper gigi timing nya pas berhubung jalanan umum ya ngerem mode ON
